Project Chlorosia - Location 2/3

A team of scientists conducted a groundbreaking experiment on a rare plant species known as Chlorosia. The aim was to enhance it's growth rate and develop a potent source of renewable energy. As the experiment progressed, the modified plant began to mutate rapidly at an alarming rate. The scientists desperate attempts to control the plant failed, and it soon outgrow the confines of the laboratory, forming into a volcanic structure and excuding poisonous gas which will kill instantly if inhaled. Our hero has successfully created an antitode and must inject it into the core inside Chlorosia before it's too late.
Part 2/3 of my locations that I designed for James Pack's portfolio class at Brainstorm. The second location showcases the middle point of our hero's journey. Encountering a mini boss battle.
